People’s Choice Wine Awards 2018, Pt 2 – Who made the Shortlist?

PCWine Awards Cartoon

Seems like ages ago I was in Manchester at the Albert Square Chop House sitting in a room full of fellow wine enthusiasts, both amateur and professional as a round 1 judge for the 2018 People’s Choice Wine Awards

This was a unique awards competition unlike any other, where everyday drinkers/consumers of everyday wines, mostly found in popular supermarkets and retailers get a chance to pick the wines they would actually like to drink and buy and I for one found myself extremely proud and privileged to play a small part in the whole experience.

Big thanks again to orginiser Jane Harrison founder of Cracking Wine and the Fizz Festival for giving us ‘mere wine mortals’ a chance to be involved in what was a memorable experience.

So what made it through to the shortlist? (see the list below) where the actual winner of each category will be announced at the Awards ceremony to be held at the Comedy Store in Manchester on the 25th February 2019.
