I must admit I was not sure what to expect from this offering from Lidl a Cabernet Sauvignon from the Barossa Valley Australia but with a recommendation from Brian Elliot’s Midweek Wines website I knew I was probably on safe ground and as it turned out it was a very enjoyable bottle of wine. This is not a heavy tannic Cabernet although it still has a hefty 14% alcohol content but it definitely doesn’t feel like it.
